Description
A Sales Administrator deals with incoming customer enquiries and assisting the sales force with daily sales administration activities.
Typical Job Activities
Sets
up appointments for sales representatives for maintenance
Follows up with the representatives after appointments to ensure the
information is timeously received
Does costing’s for maintenance quotations
Does costing’s for tenders
Sends out maintenance quotations
Prints out quotations and all relevant documents for quotations for hand
delivery, binding together and placing in landscaping brochure
Follows up on the quotations to see if a decision has been made
Assists with answering the phones when short-staffed
Fills out all pricing on tender documentation
Assists the Head Bid co-ordinator with tenders when required
Assists Landscaping Director with landscaping tenders
Does key word searches to see where the company features on Google
Assists directors with documentation required for RFI’s / vendor registrations
/ updates
Assists directors with costing’s and re-costing’s of new and / or existing
sites
Does credit applications and supplier registration documents for other
Divisions (FSG Cleaning / Hygiene)
Arranges tender briefing attendance
Assists the sales teams to deliver new business and targets through effective
tendering and bidding across all sectors
Assists with the production and submission of creative yet compliant bids and
(re)tenders that clearly state and sell defined product models and business
solutions
Arranges delivery of tenders timeously
Maintains a library of current & accurate corporate information for
inclusion in bids and (re)tenders
Gathers and maintains supporting information for inclusion in bids and
(re)tenders to evidence experience, effectiveness and capabilities
Prepares and formats proposals, agreements, and presentations when necessary
Researches and prepares capability content where appropriate
Obtains and co-ordinates all resources as necessary to respond to the
opportunity
Keeps a register of all tenders submitted
Follows up on tenders after they’ve been submitted
Does submission of tenders, proposals and presentations
