Training Of A Court Interpreter
The candidate must undergo a language test. The successful candidate is appointed temporarily and works under the supervision of a chief court interpreter. He must pass a further language test taken by the inspector of interpreters to be appointed on probation. After the probation period of 12 months he attends a theoretical and practical course. On completion of the course the interpreter is allowed to work independently.
