Description
A Front End Developer is responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application. They are usually supported by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do.
Typical Job Activities
Sits with relevant stake holders to gather requirements of
new systems or expansion to existing systems
Designs interfaces around requirements gathered
Implements design in web based interface (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript)
Maintains and improves existing PHP code base
Fully tests solutions to make sure it is stable before deployment
Produces documentation on usage of the newly developed interfaces
Revises and updates existing documentation for systems should changes be
implemented
