Description
A Duty Manager handles the security, customer services and some management concerns of an organization or hotel. He or she oversees the maintenance and overall safety procedures of the premises. They also often liaise or meet with other executives or managers.

Manages hotel cleanliness and organization

Educational Requirements
Senior
Certificate with matric exemption for a BSc degree in Hospitality
Management, Tourism, Business Administration or relevant field
Senior
Certificate for a diploma course in related fields
Compulsory subjects:
Languages
Recommended subjects: Mathematics, Travel and Tourism and Hotel keeping
Relevant Requirements
A recognised qualification in Hospitality Management
Minimum of two years staff management experience in a Management capacity
Two to three years relevant experience in a similar position within a hotel
environment
Proficiency in Microsoft packages as well as extensive knowledge of Opera PMS
Experience in IR management and disciplinary processes
What natural skills and/or aptitudes do I need for this occupation?
