A Brand Ambassador is a person who is hired by an organization or company to represent a brand in a positive light and by doing so help to increase brand awareness and sales.
Typical Job Activities
Studies
the company’s marketing goals and objectives and organizes trade initiatives
Plans and implements awareness creating programs to reach out to potential
customers
Takes part in outreach programs to involve existing customers into the
company’s offerings
Works with the sales and marketing departments to understand the company’s
goals and missions
Develops marketing ideas and records and maintain client preferences
Represents company and its products and services to the media and customers in
a positive manner
Relays customer feedback to the company in anticipation of improving products
and services
Generates ideas to maximize sales to achieve or exceed sales goals
Develops and maintains strong communication with buying offices and customers
Conducts product training and handle inventory preparation initiatives
Assists in creating and installing marketing displays and ensuring that brand
advertising material is placed in a strategic manner
Acts as the face of the company at seminars, media screenings and marketing
conferences
Monitors brand movement, pricing and distribution penetration
Builds and sustains business relationships with key accounts within assigned
areas
Organises events such as consumer sampling, concerts, after-parties and movie
premiers
Represents company and its products and services to the media and customers in
a positive manner
