For those who want an additional qualification, they may register with the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI).  There is an additional fee for this registration. In recognition of the quality of the IHS Diploma in Hospitality Management, AHLEI will award their Diploma in Hospitality Management to those who have registered with them and passed all examinable subjects with a minimum of 70%.
