Research conducted by Adzuna has resulted in a list of the 25 jobs in South Africa with the rarest skills.

To compose this list, they took a look at the skills most sought after by companies and the demand for those jobs by South African job seekers. By combining these two they gave every job skill or title a “rareness factor”. The higher the employers' demand, and the lower the employees' demand, the higher the rareness factor of the job.

For example, if a skill is in high demand by companies and there are a lot of vacancies, but very few job seekers are searching for that job or applying for that job, this job would end up in the list of rare skills. The bigger the gap between employers’ and employees’ supply and demand, the higher this job would end up on the list.
