A Veterinarian cares for the health of animals and work to improve public health. They diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and other animals.

Examines animals to diagnose their health problems

Performs surgery on animals
Tests for and vaccinate against diseases
Operates medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
