Description

A Multimedia Specialist uses computer programming skills to combine text, data, graphic images, animations, sound and video into consolidated multimedia programmes. 

Typical Job Activities

Talks to clients to establish what is required
Prepares design concepts
Talks to graphics, production and engineering experts
Prepares flow diagrams and storyboards to outline the product concept
Designs animation software for interactive CD’s, DVD’s, video game cartridges and internet-based applications
Designs special effects software for film and video applications
Writes, modifies, integrates and tests software code for e-commerce and other internet applications
Researches and evaluate new interactive media software products
